Welcome to my little corner of the internet.
Grab a cup of tea or coffee and join me for a moment, won't you?

Confession: I'm not a huge blogger. But, I wanted a place to share ideas, recipes, and thoughts with you. My hope is to share something -- even if it's just one of my favorite recipes or a current craft project -- at least twice a month. In October of 2014, I bought a small 900 some odd square foot house built in 1952. After being settled now for awhile, some projects that I forsaw upon purchasing the house, are finally coming to fruition. I'm sure many of those projects, ideas, and photos will appear here, as well.
I began this website to introduce my community to my work as a Natural Living Educator. As a certified Natural Living Educator, I currently teach the series on Natural Health from The Vintage Remedies Essentials Series; with the Real Foods course coming soon. The Vintage Remedies Essential Series, written by Jessie Hawkins of Vintage Remedies and Franklin Institute of Wellness, focuses on natural health and real foods. Each series of classes runs for four sesssions, about two hours each. You will learn methods and ideas to apply in your daily life, engage in video with founder Jessie Hawkins, participate in discussion, and apply your newfound knowledge through making your own products to take home with you.
I am also currently delving into the new adventure of creating my own bath products. More on that soon, as I continue to play around with recipes and techniques. So many, many ideas to work on and I can't wait to introduce them locally!
From time to time, you may see affiliate links when I introduce a book or product to you. Rest assured, you will never be charged more for this product, but I may get a tiny monetary bonus for you following the link. I will always identify when a link is an affiliate link.
Also, please note, I am neither a doctor nor a dietitian. All content written and posted by me is for educational purposes only and have not been evaluated by the FDA.
This site is a work in progress, please follow me on Facebook (facebook.com/mcmullen.nle) Twitter (bohosudsshoppe) and Instagram (bohosuds) in the meantime. Oh, and Pinterest (thegreencottage) -- I am a bit of a Pinterest addict! You can find links and live feeds for all of these social media gateways on the home page.
Stick around. Comment. Ask questions. Follow me on social media. I can't wait to get to know you and share life with you.
